Green book cloth boards, crest in gilt to front, titles in gilt to spine, 32pp contents, 545 pp including appendix, b&w photograph portrait of author to frontispiece, numerous b&w illustrations, includes fold out maps to rear. Binding is a little fragile, but intact with no loose pages, corners and head and foot of spine are bumped, foxing to epps, edges tanned, name of previous owner in neat black ink to title page, overall a good copy.
