Overall the book is square and the binding has no tears or parting. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 469 +Appendix pages; This copy is from the year of the first edition, but I cannot determine where the first was published and there are 1887 issues from other cities. This work appears to be a comprehensive history of the religion through 1887.
