Written to advise friends and clients, Frasca's book includes discussions on famous stock fraud cases, the Great Depression, real estate schemes, Prohibition, and judicial appointments, among much else. Frasca notes in his dedication that he had "twelve years' experience in exposing many stock frauds and recovering thousands of dollars. that otherwise would have been lost" (p. iii). Octavo. Photographic frontispiece, occasional neat printed underlining to the text. Original maroon cloth, spine and front cover lettered in gilt, front cover panelled in blind. With dust jacket. Minor bumping and rubbing, ink flower stamp to front free endpaper, frontispiece neatly reattached, infrequent light browning to contents, ghosting to pp. 20-21; slight rubbing, chipping, and finger soiling to jacket, flaps without price as issued, short closed tear to head of front flap and rear panel, faint toning and a couple of slight damp spots to spine: a very good copy in like jacket.
