First Edition (first printing). 8vo. 124pp. Brown cloth lettered in gold at the spine. Two-colour pictorial endpapers. School prize plate to the half-title verso. A very good copy in lightly rubbed, toned and soiled non-price-clipped dust wrapper designed by Humphrey Stone. The author's fourth novel, a comic fantasy written as an official history detailing how a village football club beat Rangers in the FA Cup final (based in-part of his own experiences playing for the 1930 season for South Milford White Rose).
