Original 11x11 inch Hand Woven Irish Rushes for St. Brigid's Day or Imbolc which is on Febuary 1st. and one of the four sacred days of the year, or and day. Hung over doorways for protection and blessing much like a Hebrew Mazuzzah. My Father in Law from Galway hung one over the door in his law office. Triple Brigit was as sacred as an Celtic Goddess as she is as a Catholic Saint in Ireland and Scotland. Indeed she is one and the same. Brigid was said to have been in Glastonbury as well. This in Fine condition and is a large 11 inches tall and 11 inches wide and completely hand made as it was 1000 years ago and has a rush loop to hang even.
