Condition original Hardback binding fair, some edge wear, staining, ageing etc. Contents mostly good, from very good to fair. 1902 gift inscription inside front endpage, some pages with minor residue of fingers, 2 detached pages one with edge wear and smallish edge tear, one with minor edge wear. Un paginated, This copy has the illustrated colour Title page + 23 full page colour illustrated plates + 22 pages of colour illustrated text pages including some section titles + illustrated printers page + 7 pages blank. As pages are not numbered and sources and most dealers do not make it clear what their copy contain and if their descriptions include the blank pages,or if they do include the 7 blank pages, then this copy is complete, But we can confirm including ALL pages with illustrations is 47 pages, off which 23 are full page colour illustrated plates. As usual the artwork is typical Cecil Aldin, bright and bold colour except one with with just grey. This is not a very rare title, but a decent copy.
