You can paint gorgeous florals and dramatic landscapes in less than three hours!
Popular artist Terrence Tse shows you how to put all the joy back into painting with his fast and fun techniques using acrylic paints and... a common household sponge! A natural extension of your hand, a sponge actually makes painting a breeze. The technique is so basic, the results so remarkable and fast, that you'll soon have a home full of beautiful paintings. Tse shares his wonderful discoveries and shows you how quickly, how easily, you can use a sponge to:
- cover large areas of the canvas
- blend colors, paint highlights and shadows
- paint luscious soft edges and texture for flowers, fluffy clouds, leafy foliage
- create mood (misty mountains, moonlit scenes, an autumn glow)
In hundreds of full-color photos, you'll see the simple steps to painting bold, colorful flowers and dozens of landscape elements such as skies, clouds, sunsets, reflective water, breaking waves, trees, foliage, flowers and more.
Choose from 20 start-to-finish painting demonstrations to create your first masterpiece; each one can be finished in less than three hours (some in only 75 minutes!). Paint a gorgeous floral still life, or a dramatic landscape scene in your favorite season and time of day, from early sunrise to the blue hour of early evening. Tse even shares some traditional Chinese subjects such as bamboo groves, cherry blossoms, and a calm, meditative river scene. Grab a sponge and some acrylic paints and begin the artistic adventure of your life. You won't be able to stop!

Terms of sale
In addition to payment through Abebooks (the preferred method), payment can be
made via Paypal or personal check or money order for US transactions only. All international sales must be conducted through Abebooks. Paypal does not adjust the exchange rate.
In January 2016 the US postal service changed international shipping rates. Books weighing 2 lbs. or less (packed for shipping) ship at a reasonable rate. The rate for books over this weight has gone up dramatically. For this reason, the bookseller may contact you for extra funds for shipping. This will occur if the book is inexpensive but overweight. You have the opportunity to decline, in which case the sale will be cancelled and your credit card will not be processed.
Checks should be made payable to Lucy Horton. All books are selected and packed with care.
