Add to basketThe Spirit of the Forty-Second is a deeply evocative regimental history compiled by Vivian Brahms, chronicling the experiences of the 42nd Battalion, 11th Infantry Brigade, 3rd Division, Australian Imperial Forces during World War I (1914?1918). The battalion's patch printed in colour on the battle honours pages, plus 12 pages of plates, with pages blanks headed 'Memories Revived'. Navy blue cloth lettered in gilt on the spine and front cover (along with the battalion's badge); pages tanned, but essentially a very good copy with the very scarce dustwrapper, spine sunned, loss to top of spine, soilded.
