Scarce in the trade, stated First Edition, First Printing, with "1" in "number" line present. SIGNED by the author at special page, being a Special Limited Edition, being Copy #B and an "author copy," so stamped in red at page of limitation. Another fine novel by the author of the OPSIG Team Black Series, Lost Girl, The Lost Codex and False Accusations, among many others. Fine-looking, structurally sound hardcover, little discernible wear to the brown cloth over boards, sharp and distinct gilt lettering to front cover and spine. Bright interior, unmarked. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, little worn beyond superficial edge-wear along bottom edge. Purchased directly from the publisher. From the publisher's blurb, "An enigmatic covert operative. A skilled FBI agent with a dark past. And a terror plot unlike any in history. An explosion pulverizes the president-elect's helicopter on Election Night. It soon become clear that the group behind the assassination attempt possesses far greater reach than anything the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force has yet encountered and a plot so deeply interwoven in the country's fabric that it threatens to upend America's political system. But as Department of Defense operative Hector DeSantos and FBI Agent Aaron "Uzi" Uziel sort out who is behind the bombing, Uzi's personal demons not only jeopardize the investigation but may sit at the heart of a tangle of lies that threaten to trigger an international terrorist attack. Hailed by political thriller master Vince Flynn as "a smart, complex novel that explodes from the page, " and by blockbuster author Lee Child as "a terrific thriller" that's "fast, hard, and intelligent, " Hard Target is a ticking time bomb that keeps you clinging to the edges of your seat. And turning the pages." 444 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.…

Store description
Member, I.O.B.A. (the Independent On-line Booksellers Association) "Structure" versus "Agency." A phrase that has characterized much social-scientific debate. Does “structure” (the routinized regulations of kinship and marriage, work and reproduction, of race, class and gender) determine history, or is it the “agency” of fully conscious, independently acting, individuals? Structure, Verses, Agency Books isn’t going to solve the debate, but we’ll offer you lots of all three. Versus to verses—we specialize in fine, rare and collectible books, from the fine arts to the social sciences, from poetry to photography, from literature and ethnography to fine bindings and Americana. Structure, Verses, Agency Books…

Terms of sale
I've done my best to state clearly and truthfully the condition of each and
every book I have listed on-line. Sometimes, however, books change condition
insofar as they sit on the shelf for a long time, get moved by customers,
get taken to and from book fairs, and so on. If for some reason you don't
like your purchase or it arrives somehow damaged, or if it doesn't get to
you at all, you might be eligible for a refund within 30 days of the
estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a book that
you've ordered, please contact me or use the "Ask bookseller a question"
link to contact me and I'll respond within two business days.
