Item description from seller

First edition. 8vo. 14 pp. The author makes a strident plea for more funding for the vocational training of poor white boys, especially for factory work, comparing the South's support for such unfavorably to the northern states, especially Massachusetts, and the support for the vocational training of African- American youth in the South, pointing especially to schools such as Tuskegee. OCLC locates 11 copies (Cornell, Alabama Archives & History, Library of Congress, Hagley, Kentucky, Duke, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas-Austin, Virginia, Library of Virginia). First and last pages of text foxed, else very good. Original printed tan wrappers, stapled. (8972).
