About this Item
A VERY RARE 1925 FIRST MODERN LIBRARY EDITION WITH DUST JACKET! South Wind by Norman Douglas with a "special" introduction by Norman Douglas. 1925 FIRST MODERN LIBRARY / BONI & LIVERIGHT EDITION. Per Toledano the first printing was not identified on the copyright in this edition but book and dust jacket match a first printing. This is a very rare First Modern Library book in dust jacket. Bound in green imitation leather (spine #4). The book is in NEAR FINE condition with bright gilt on cover and spine. Leatherette binding is tight and solid. NO writing anywhere in the book - contents clean and bright. Bernhard endpapers are clean and bright. GORGEOUS! The dust jacket is VERY GOOD+ with chipping on the top and bottom spine otherwise in great shape for its age - very nice and bright. The list of titles on the flaps and rear panel include titles from 1925 but not 1926 indicating a 1925 printing and first modern library edition.
