Very Good+ in Very Good+ DJ: Both book and DJ show indications of very careful use. The Book shows no discernible wear at all; just a bit of shelf-soiling at the bottom edge; former owner bookplate at the front free endpaper; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. The DJ shows light wear: mild rubbing; several tiny, closed tears to the outside edges the price has not been clipped; handsome in its mylar-protector. Overall, remains a very handsome copy showing only minor flaws in a like DJ. REMAINDER, however, showing a small mark at the bottom edge. NOT a Book-Club or Ex-Library. 8vo. xlix, 612pp. First Edition [1973]; First Printing, so stated. The American Heritage Series. Hardback with DJ. First Edition [1973]; First Printing, so stated.
