252 pages, red cloth, gilt titles on the spine, published anonymously with no author's name on the book. some foxing throughout, mainly at early and last few pages and paper edges, small ink insc on FFEP "R. C. Parish", Good to VG. Small Octavo. 1929 2nd impression. * The author served first in The London Rifle Brigade and then in 1915 Was in the Cameron Highlanders and in 1916 joined the RFC (later RAF). The epigraph chapter at the rear describes as from Nov 1917 he was recovering from fatigue and he resumed flying at Winchester training new pilots and here he describes the many Americans all waiting to get to France.
