8vo, xv + pp297 wit b/w maps, charts and photographs throughout. Hardcover in dust jacket. Pictorial DJ in new protective sleeve in very good condition with small nick to top of spine. Black cloth binding with gilt titles to spine in very good condition with small nick to top of spine. Inside publishers have stamped title page with "damaged" presumably for small nicks to spine all other pages in excellent near fine condition. A very nice copy of this working of natural selection on Snow Goose plumage colour, seasonal timing of breeding, clutch size, egg size, and body size. Combining genetics, behaviour, ecology together with a landmark data set.
