About this Item

This is the smallest county map of Carmarthenshire - apart from the circular Luffman. Measures 10.5 cm x 7.0 cm (4.1" x 6.7") . Hand coloured engraved map, and in an older but modern plain mount. Paper lightly and uniformly tanned, but a very good clear copy/image. Mail coach roads shown. James Wallis, engraver and publisher at '77 Berwick Street, Soho' London (from 1812). Wallis and Reid published 'The Panorama or Traveller's Instructive Guide through England and Wales' in 1820. Quite a Scarce Map. See Image. ; 32mo 4" - 5" tall.
