Book has a very light bumping at the head and tail of the spine and at the tip of the lower front outside corner. Pale green endpapers. Previous owner's gift inscription on the free front endpaper. Binding is straight and tight. Pages are all clean, white, and crisp. 193 pages. Dust Jacket - has light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine and at the very tips of the two front outside corners. There's a 2/3" closed tear in the upper edge of the rear cover near the tip of the outside corner. Jacket otherwise clean, bright, and sharp. Upper corner of the front inside flap has been price clipped. Author's fourth book after Gravity's Rainbow, The Crying of Lot 49, V., and followed by Vineland, The Bleeding Edge, and others.
