In a near-fine dust jacket with corresponding slight tanning to top edge and a touch of soiling to spine ends. A beautiful copy of Didion's second book. In it she describes her experiences in California during the 1960s, most famously her impressions of the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco during the neighborhood's heyday as a countercultural center.
