He has always had an interest in an avocation to drawing and in the 1950s he became interested in portraying the American West and the western cattle country and its great ranches. His real interest was in illustrations featuring Hereford cattle which are featured throughout this book. His artist's pencil touches on all aspects of ranch-life from cowboys and horses to wildlife, to frontiersmen, and cowboys are work with cattle or on horses. A clean very presentable album.
