Also includes contributions by Marcello Salvadori, Walter Gropius, Alan Ansen, William Burroughs, Marcel Duchamp, Brion Gysin and others. Signals magazine was named in hommage to the work of Takis. This issue is presently (July 2019) shown as part of the Takis exhibition at Tate Modern. Signals London was a short-lived yet highly influential British venue dedicated to 1960s avant-garde artists from Europe and Latin America. Through their exhibitions, events and publications, they established fruitful cross-border networks between these regions and introduced early manifestations of Fluxus, Kinetic and Op art to Britain. Having evolved from the Centre for Advanced Creative Study, Signals London was situated in London s West End between 1964 1966. Condition: Folded as issued and folded on centre, some wear to the centre of spine on outside page, some wear to folds on outer page and edges of pages, light toning. Some evidence of 2 vertical creases/fold, with light surface wear to the folded edge. Overall VG. Large format item, requires extra postage. Seller Inventory # 12832
