First edition hardback, in a slightly scruffy but unclipped and undamaged jacket, with the (often missing) folded map at the back. It has been used, but the signs are gentle. Slight foxing to the leading edge of the text block. A very presentable and collectable copy of an uncommon book, especially so with the Lakeland Map as a loose enclosure.
