Dedicatory address by Angelus Conticellus within a full p. allegorical engraving with portrait of Leopold I by Iac. Blondeau, and dated 1680. Leaves 3-26, engraved by Pietro Santi Bartoli with notes by J.P. Bellori, are copied from a bas-relief on the Ducal palace in Mantua, designed by Giulio Romano.
