Schwencke. Folio. Later half morocco and cloth boards, marbled endleaves. The binding and one gathering from the first score (pages 7-12) are detached, light scattered foxing, else a good sound copy. First performed at the Opéra in Paris on February 29, 1836, with soprano Cornelie Falcon, tenor Adolphe Nourrit and bass Nicholas Levasseur in the lead roles.
