First edition hardback of this terrific story from the Sharpe series. Dj is vg+, i've marked it down due to very slight fading to spine and minor crinkling to top edge, unclipped. Book also vg+, partially removed label to top left front pastedown and toning to pages, apparently very common to these volumes. Otherwise superb, no inscrips, tears, folds or foxing. Thanks for looking, will come with new dj protector.

Store description
I'm fascinated by vintage books, and the thought of where they've spent their lives! I particularly like book illustrations from 40s, 50s & 60's, and have a collection of books by, and illustrated by, Edward Ardizzone.
