Freeman ensured that his methods were practical by conducting all experiments mentioned in the stories himself. With the inscription of G. Herrenden Harker to the front free endpaper, dated 26.v.27. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price unclipped dust wrapper. Light fading to back strip tail, otherwise externally, excellent. Front and rear hinges strained, with boards holding firm. Inscription to front free endpaper. Loss to tail of dust wrapper rear wrap, with further small losses to back strip and front wrap tail. Significant closed tears to either side of back strip tail, with small section of back strip head detached but present. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Very Good.
