Black paper-covered boards with black backstrip and gilt lettering. Hint of sunning to edges. Text is clean and white, no marks. Unclipped DJ with $14.95 price shows light rubbing to all edges, minor general scuffing. Nice dust jacket illustration by Paul Gamarello. "In June of 1977 the Central Intelligence Agency dismissed 820 Clandestine Services officers in a single day. This is the factual basis for one of the most sophisticated and detailed treatments of that covert community ever realized in American fiction. This is the story of one of these ex-officers who sets up his own business in the only trade he knows: clandestine operations." (from the jacket).
