8vo 393pp. from front flap: "The relationship between the sexes is and always has been a political one--a continuing power struggle in which women are sometimes idolized, other times patronized, always exploited. So argues Kate Millett, a radical feminist, in this entertaining and surprising examination of society's most arbitrary folly. In SEXUAL POLITICS Kate Millett shows how the patriarchal bias operates in culture and is reflected in literature." #01770.
