Bound in panelled calf of the period, spine in 6 compartments, spine labels lacking, both joints cracked but still holding; both endpapers lightly age-toned but internally clean tight and unmarked with minimal age toning, the paper still white and clean; vi+499 pages plus 5 pages of publishers catalogue; front pastedown with the armorial bookplate of "Wauchope of Edmonstone" datd 1774. Law's religious writings greatly influenced John Wesley and the founders of Methodism and the Evangelical Revival in England.
