Finely re-bound: quarter leather boards with hand marbled paper and leather end caps. Gilt lettering on the spine. Tremendous craftsmanship. Two previous owner's signatures to the second free end paper with interior foxing affecting the first few pages, though the interior of the text block is clean. Select pages mended within the text block. Minor tears on the top and bottom of the rear fold-out which has also been mended with tape. The last two gatherings are a bit loose, but overall the binding is holding up well. The modern binding is fine, and the text block, with the repairs, is very good. In all, a well-preserved, important, and scarce Mormon relic. Seller Inventory # 001116
