Morris, Bookseller & Robe Maker, Angelsea Street, Dublin.' *Sir Thomas William Moffett (1820-1908) Irish scholar and educationalist, was born at Castleknock, County Dublin, he was educated at Trinity College Dublin, where he was a double gold medal winner. In 1849 he became the first professor of logic and metaphysics at the Queen's College Galway and later became president of that university. He was knighted in 1896.* Binding dusty and rubbed at extremities, pencil notes to text, otherwise a very good copy of an uncommon Irish university text.
