This tourist guide was produced by the the agents for the Baltimore agents of the North German Lloyd Steamship Co. It includes information on ships of the North German Line as well as information on cities and sights in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The first edition of this book was published in 1909 and contained 50 pages of text; this revised edition contains about 30 additional pages of text (plus ads in the rear). There is no indication of when it was published, however, it was probably published prior to the onset of the first World War in 1915. Original publishers white paper covers with blue cover lettering. The white covers are lightly soiled with age and there is a little wear to the bottom of the spine, else this is a clean, tight, and unmarked book with no previous owner names, markings, or bookplates.
