132 Pages Indexed.Yellow boards blue spine lettering. Tight bright book with no marks or stamps. Needlepointers looking for something new and different will welcome this book of designs with a three-dimensional, sculptured look and fascinating combinations of smooth and textured stitches. There are complete directions for twenty-four projects, including a variety of pillows and pincushions, a footstool, and a mirror frame. Some of the larger pillows can be doubled to make tote bags, and some of the smaller ones will make effective patch pockets. Ella Projansky is a designer whose creations have appeared in McCall's Needlework and Crafts Magazine and a teacher of considerable experience. Her instructions can be easily followed by novices as well as more practiced workers, and in addition to eXplaining how to do it she also adds some friendly words of caution on how not to do it. Her book will be a valuable addition to any needlepointer's library.
