Small 8vo. 1774. 1st (and only) edition. ? (2)168 with errata slip pasted on verso of t.p. wanting firstleaf ?half title/blank. ESTC N21275 locates copies in 15 libraries. Bound with J(ohn) M(artin) - A Letter to Richard Hill esquire containing some remarks on that Gentleman's Five Letters to Rev. J. Fletcher. 1775. 42pp. ESTC T179846. RARE. ESTC locates only 4 copies (2 in John Rylands and 2 in U.s.). World Cat. adds 1 U.S. Richard Hill's letters were in response to John Fletcher's 'Vindication of Rev. Mr Wesley's Last Minutes. Very light browning and sporadic foxing. Good. Full tree calf. Upper board hinges cracked but still attached to cords. Worn with very minor loss top and tail of spine. Small areas of surface damage to upper board and lower hinge. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
