Red cloth binding. Heavy fading to spine. Stain to lower corner of front board. Page edges untrimmed, with foxing. Good solid binding. Pencilled underlining and ink margin notes to the first two chapters, occasional pencilled notes elsewhere. Frontis plus four fold-out maps. Paper label to front board for Day's Library, but no library markings within the book. Light crease to upper corner of first few pages. A large section of the book is devoted to the American Civil War, including all the maps. Overall condition is Good Plus. Size: 6 x 9 inches (15 x 22.5 cm). Hardback.
