[1871] apparent first edition thus (edition not stated); Crane & Byron; hardcover in very good antiquarian condition. This is a remarkable scarce theological volume that deals with salvation, damnation, science, divinity, sin, and prayer. Brown boards with gold stamping on front and spine; spine text is faded, rubbing; mild edgewear, particularly at spine extremes and unbound corners; tight/square; generally quite tidy internally. Possibly a light erasure on flyleaf; else unmarked. Quite an item for the serious theology collection.
