Item description from seller

Limp boards bound in faux reptile leather with a gilt emblem to the front. All edges gilt. Silk bookmark sewn in. Small octavo.[xii] 329pp. (2). "Information for the Reader" sheet laid in. The text is printed in a brown ink with many passages in gilt. Many illustrations and decorative elements within the text are also beautifully rendered in brown and gold. A little shelf wear to the cover and edges. Very tight binding. A metaphysical work that attempts to explain the nature of existence, consciousness, and humanity's place in the universe through a synthesis of spiritual philosophy, psychology, and what Fersen regarded as universal scientific principles. The central argument is that human beings possess latent spiritual and mental powers that can be consciously developed through understanding the immutable "laws" governing life. Fersen founded. The Lightbearers movement which is still active today.
