Item description from seller
School education is an important mile- stone in a child’s life. A high quality school followed by an academically effective school education gives children's development a significant boost. The school education system in India is in crisis with respect to enrolment and achieving the goals of universalisation of education to enhance the literacy rate of our country. Despite the heavy nation-wide measures taken by the government of India this goal is far fetched. The schools are embedded in issues and concerns related to infrastructure, curriculum, teaching methods and capacity building of teachers. This book discusses these concerns and issues at length by experts in school education.
