Spine somewhat slanted and creased, some edgewear and bumping. Text is starting to yellow, but clean and unmarked. "The statue known as 'The Sleeping Venus' was exquisitely lovely - so skillfully painted as to appear to be a living, breathing woman. Nayland Smith's piercing blue eyes darkened at the description, a terrible suspicion forming in his mind. Could it be - was it possible - that the figure brought in under the noses of British authorities was none other than the kidnapped daughter of his old colleague Dr. Petrie! There was only one man capable of inducing such a trance; only one mind diabolical enough to conceive such an infernal plot. It could only be Doctor Fu Manchu."; 6¾" - 7¾" Tall.
