The September 16, 1939 issue of the Saturday Evening Post. Fiction includes most notably part 5 of 7 of Double for Death, a Tecumseh Fox mystery by Rex Stout. Other fiction includes Don't Sell it, Mr Rumbin, a short story by Booth Tarkington (9/16). Also contains an article (Faster than a Bullet by H Lloyd Child) on an airplane setting a speed record of over 600 MPH. Cover art by Frances Tipton Hunter (9/16 - Growing Boy). Light wear at the edges & some mild soiling to some of the covers. A very good issue with a nice Rex Stout serial installment.
