First UK edition (published 2 years after the US Levenger Press one). Hardcover. A tiny bit of foxing on the top edge, otherwise fine in fine dustjacket (sterling price intact). A fine selection from Johnson's two-volume opus, including an informative 20 page introduction by Lynch, and including Johnson's original preface of about the same length. Word list is presented elegantly and clearly. This heavy book will cost more to send overseas, than any default postage rate noted.
