First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good condition. A clean, tight, and textually pristine copy of Donald D. Eddy’s scarce bibliographical study of Samuel Johnson's 18th-century periodical reviews. Bound in the original publisher's sturdy cloth boards, the exterior shows only minor surface handling and storage wear while keeping sharp corners and solid joints. Internal contents, text, and pages are entirely unaffected—crisp, white, and in immaculate, like-new condition throughout. Completely free of annotations, highlighting, or institutional stamps. Issued without dust jacket. An excellent addition to academic collections focusing on 18th-century English literature or historical bibliography.
