"This is a work of fantasy based mostly on people who once existed. In a varied career, studded with bouts of amnesia, Sam is a brothel tout and a prison education officer in Warsaw and a bit player in Bertolt Brecht's theatre in Berlin. In England he is a banjo teacher, a Chassidic spiritualist medium and finally, an inmate." Printed in Australia. A LIKE NEW very nice clean tight solid softcover copy. 214pp. Scarce. SB-24.
