1882, J.Masters, First thus edition. Eight titles in one volume. Frontispiece with tissue guard and eight illustrated engravings. Very Good condition hardback. Original green boards, charmingly illustrated, with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Age related spotting to page block, occasional pages and premlims. Historic crease to outer edge of several pages. However the spine and page block remain tight and firm. Some bumping/wear to extremities. Original owner's name etc. in ink. The pages are otherwise clean, bright and unmarked. Overall a handsome copy of an uncommon book in Very Good condition. Seller Inventory # ABE-1572277265114

Condition: Fair. 1907. 543 pages. No dust jacket. Green pictorial cloth. Inscription to front endpaper. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Hinges and guttering are cracked. Binding is loose. Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped.
