The book is in Very Good condition with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The boards are clean but could do with a damp cloth wash over and the gilt lettering / design is intact. The page edges are toned but the interior text block is clean. The end papers are browned and there is the top corner missing from the paste down of the inside front board. The binding is tight aside from the title page, which is coming loose but still safely affixed to the book. The book has 1973 pages excluding another couple hundred pages of adverts and index. It has black and white illustrations of the items for sale on every page. There is also an errata sheet inserted into the book showing price changes since publication, which is shown as 1930 on the title page.

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
