Book size about 7 by 9 1/2 inches with some 820 pages. Bound in decorated light black cloth with leather spine and tips. Gilt spine lettering and decoration. All edges marbled. Marbled end papers. Six individual issues of the Strand Magazine covering the months of January through June, 1899. The usual marvelous literary content with five tales by A Conan Doyle, four by W W Jacobs (He of 'The Monkey's Paw" fame), four by E Nesbit, one by H G Wells. Much else of course but these are certainly among the notable content. Spine edge along the front cover cracked; light to moderate wear. VERY GOOD.
