This wonderful book documents much of the mythical universe that Star Wars created, it incorporates a wide range of information from numerous books, television movies, radio dramas, documentaries, and games. The 1994 Second Edition of "A Guide to the Star Wars Universe" by Bill Slavicsek, updated much of this information in an encyclopedic format and was a valuable aid in preparing this book. The challenge was to consolidate the data from that and other sources and combine it with a comprehensive visual record of the films, to bring together in one place as much about Star Wars as possible. The Imaginary world of Star Wars is taken from screenplays and novelizations, spin-off novels, comics, detailed source books published by West End Games, and Ballantine reference books. Star Wars Chronicles also reached beyond the fictional world to include behind the scenes information on the making of the films. production timelines, publishing history, theme park attractions and more. This is a special book chronicling the amazing "Star Wars" unique historical record. A must have book for all the "Star Wars" fans and enthusiasts.
