About this Item

This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Rupert Hart-Davis in 1968. The jacket has fading to the front cover and spine otherwise would be Very Fine. It is unclipped (21s net) and intact with no damage. The book is in Near Fine condition. The spine is straight, corners sharp and spine ends firm. The page edges are toned due to age and the front end papers look like they have had a label of sorts removed - presumably a previous owner ex-libris label. The copyright page confirms the first UK publication in 1968.

Shipping Terms

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
