Seduction of the Innocent was a highly controversial 1954 book by psychiatrist Fredric Wertham, which argued that comic books were a direct cause of juvenile delinquency and posed a serious threat to youth. The book's primary influence was not a lasting impact on youth themselves, but rather the creation of the Comics Code Authority (CCA), which dramatically reshaped and censored the comic book industry for decades.Scarce copy of the book in this condition. 397 pages.
