8vo. pp [6], 160. Original publisher's blue cloth, lettered silver at the spine and lined in silver on the front cover. Author's first novel. The book was suppressed when its publisher was prosecuted for publishing Havelock Ellis's (the author's husband) 'Sexual Inversion'. Lacking front endpaper with ex-library plate on the front pastedown and labels at spine foot. Slight rubbing at spine ends and corners with some soiling and some marking to cloth and slight tanning at spine, overall sound, very good minus with clean text. Seller Inventory # C30754
