Item description from seller

pp: 172. Bound in the original pale blue pictorial dust jacket, over pale green cloth boards. The author has collected eighteen Newfoundland sea stories in one volume. Harrington is a native Newfoundlander, and, in fact, spent much of career writing about his homeland in newspapers, magazines, and books. He worked on local radio stations for years. This volume is curiously neglected in many of the biographies of Harrington. It may be reflected in the fact that it is quite uncommon in any condition. Speaking of condition, this is a very good copy. There are remains of tape on the front paste down and opposite endpaper. There is one more piece of tape on the rear paste down. The jacket is fragile with a weakened front hinge, moderate edge wear, and overall rubbing.
