Uncommon volume by this syncretic Russian philosopher who was believed to have been an inspiration to Fyodor Dostoevsky's Karamazov characters. First english translation here from 1948. Hardcover is well bound, solid and square. Cloth boards are clean and firm, with bright gilt lettering to spine. Interior is mildly age-toned but clean and without marks. Dustjacket has a large closed tear at the head of the DJ spine but all pieces attatched and now laid flat in brodart. Light chips to DJ at head and foot of spine and then most egregiously heavily rubbed and chipped at the foredges but sitll nice in brodart. Seller Inventory # ABE-1707866958013
